Your long-chat handoff and archive card

Follow the fresh-chat transfer (opens in a new tab). Save only the practice material when learning.

Filled handoff

  • Goal: draft an agenda to agree equipment-checklist ownership.
  • Current facts: Friday, 20 minutes; Operations has not accepted ownership.
  • Superseded facts: Thursday and 30 minutes.
  • Work completed: a practice plan in chat. No message sent or event changed.
  • Source: the supplied practice note and its explicit update.
  • Open decision: who accepts checklist maintenance.
  • Next action: draft a 20-minute agenda with ownership as a discussion item.
Prepare a handoff for a fresh conversation. Include the goal,
current confirmed facts, superseded facts, decisions still open,
source references, work completed and exact next action.
Keep proposals separate from approvals. Flag a source the next
conversation will need supplied again.

Check every consequential fact before copying. In the new chat, ask for a readback before continuing. Archive the old practice chat only after the useful result and handoff are saved. Verify you can find it again. Archiving does not establish deletion, zero retention or revoked account access.
