Current default models (for reference only; the lessons never name them): since Oct 7–8, 2026, Free and Go run "GPT-6 Luna" and paid plans run "GPT-6 Sol." ⚠️ Comes from a third-party roundup (https://9to5ai.tech/chatgpt-plans-compared-october-2026 (opens in a new tab)) and partly from OpenAI's model help page, which still mentions GPT-5.6 in places, so the naming is inconsistent.
